LBVŠ Stipendijas
Katru gadu Latviešu biedrība Vašingtona štatā (LBVŠ) piešķir stipendijas latviešu vasaras nometnēm (Kursa, Mežotne, u.c).
Stipendijas atbalsta lūguma un piešķiršanas noteikumi:
- Stipendijām drīkst pieteikties LBVŠ biedri vai LBVŠ biedra bērni (līdz 18 gadu vecumam).
- Tiek sagaidīts, ka skolēns ir piedalījies LBVŠ un vietējos latviskos sarīkojumos.
- Stipendījas lūgumu (skatīt formu zemāk) jāiesniedz līdz 1. maija, rakstot info@seattlelatviancenter.com
- LBVŠ valde lems par stipendiju piešķiršanu maija mēneša valdes sēdē un ar Jums sazināsies līdz maija beigām.
- Ja skolēnam tiks piešķirts atbalsts, LBVŠ kasieris piešķirto summu elektroniski pārskaitīs nometnes/skolas kasierim/ei.
- Pēc nometnes/skolas apmeklēšanas, stipendijas saņēmējam jaiesniedz LBVŠ valdei nelielu pārskatu par savām gaitām.

LBVŠ Scholarships
Every year the Latvian Association of the State of Washington (LBVŠ) awards scholarships to Latvian summer camps and schools (Kursa, Mežotne, & others).
Scholarship application and award rules:
- Scholarships are open to LBVŠ members or children of LBVŠ members (up to 18 years of age).
- It is expected that the student has participated in LBVŠ and local Latvian events.
- Scholarship requests (see form below) must be submitted by May 1, to info@seattlelatvlancenter.com.
- The LBVŠ board will decide on the award of scholarships at their May meeting and contact you by the end of May.
- If the student is awarded support, the LBVŠ treasurer will electronically transfer the awarded amount to the camp/school treasurer.
- After having attended camp/school, the scholarship recipient must submit a brief summary of their experiences to the LBVŠ board.
